Planning Permission For Farm Shop
We are in the process of applying for planning permission for our unit by the road to be turned into a farm shop. It is our aim to sell Fresh Farm produce from local farmers and producers helping both the local economy and the environment. We expect the planning to take up to three months and if we are succesful hopefully we will have the shop up and running by next summer.

Now is the time to place your order for furniture due to price increase coming thick and fast from suppliers due to the Lower value of the UK Pound. The 20% drop in the Pounds value is going to hit all furniture ranges as most items in most shops are imported from abroad. Even English Companies like Pinetum will be affected due to their raw materials coming from abroad. Orders placed now will be at old prices but these prices will not be able to be held for long.
A PICNIC AREA HAS NOW BEEN ADDED TO OUR SITE
We Have now Opened a Large Picnic area in our grounds next to the lake. The nature walk has also been marked out and is open to the public. Why not come down and bring your dog for a walk,have a picnic and relax in our grounds.
NEW BUSINESS RELOCATED TO THE ESTATE
We are please to announce that Masterpiece Pottery Studio has taken over Unit 3 Holmes Hill Estate.
The MasterPiece Studio opened in 2001 in a small unit at The Old Loom Mill, Hailsham. They rapidly outgrew their unit and after taking over one of the largest units at the Old Loom Mill they have decided to move to Unit 3 Holmes Hill Estate.
MasterPiece is a family business run by Gillian and Barry, with help at various times from daughters Claire, Katie and Aimee, the youngest, Studio Manager Vicky’s daughter Rachel can also be found in the studio at weekends and holidays along with Hatty, Emily, Lizzie and Kadie their merry team of students. The studio ethos is to provide a fun, relaxing atmosphere for painters of all ages where they can produce their own masterpiece in a safe and welcoming environment.
NEW SHOWROOM EXTENSION COMPLETED
Work has been completed on our new showroom extension. Built on the site of the old stable block the new showroom has retained its old beams and distressed walls to compliment the French oak furniture that is on display.
