Free Delivery for orders over £500 for the following areas. BN, RG, RH, GU, TN, ME, CR, DA, BR. For orders under £500 carriage charge will be £30.
Free Delivery for orders over £1000 for the following areas. CT, SO, RG, SL, TW, SW, SE, RM, CM, CO, PO, For orders under £500 carriage charge will be £40.
Delivery quotes are written on the invoices that you receive by email following confirmation of the order. These quotes refer to the length of time that we expect the furniture to take before it arrives at our warehouse in East Sussex. As a rule the majority of furniture arrives at our warehouse within 21- 28 days of the order being placed, however we tend to be deliberately pessimistic with our quotes in order not to mislead you the customer.
Vehicle Access
Please help us to ensure a satisfactory delivery by telling the delivery company if you think a large vehicle might have difficulty reaching the address. This could be because of factors such as narrow roadways, tight corners or low trees, cables or building overhangs. We believe it is better to agree an alternative delivery destination in advance, rather than have customers suffer delays, inconvenience and the additional cost of the unsuccessful delivery.
Delivery is to the room of choice provided there is sufficient access, and is undertaken with a minimum of two delivery men. Please note there is a charge if we have to take a piece of furniture apart to get it through tight access. Please note if a piece of furniture is too big to fit through a door etc, this is not a good enough reason to cancel the order and our drivers will place the item in another room of your choice.
Protection of carpets and flooring
Staff making deliveries are required by law to wear protective footwear at all times. As they are not allowed to remove this footwear when unloading the vehicle, gaining access to the property, or carrying furniture into the property, we strongly advise customers to make proper provision to protect their carpets and flooring. We do not accept responsibility for any marks or damage that may inadvertently be caused by delivery staff during the normal course of their work.
Custom Installation Service
Almost all Holmes Hill Furniture supplied fully built. However, larger items such as beds, wardrobes and dining tables arrive in sections to gain access through confined or restricted spaces and door and drawer handles are removed for protection during transportation.
So in addition to delivery to the room of choice, we also offers a Bespoke Installation Service where, for a scale of charges, customers can specify help with as much, or as little, of the installation process as required. This could be anything from assembly of larger items to the fitting of legs or handles.
Packaging will be removed from the furniture on delivery but must be disposed of or recycled by the customer. All local authorities have facilities for disposal of packaging materials.

Delivery timescales
When you order your furniture we will tell you how long your particular item of furniture will take to arrive with us from the manufacturer. As soon as it arrives in our warehouse we will add your delivery to our delivery schedule.
Despite all the variables, please be reassured that when iwantfurniture gives you a delivery quote it will be correct 99% of the time.
Missed Delivery Times
Every effort is made to make deliveries at the time arranged. However when making hundreds of deliveries every week, the difficulties caused by traffic congestion and weather conditions (including snow, ice, wind, rain and flood) can sometimes cause delays to these schedules. We regret we cannot compensate customers for delivery delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control..
Inspection
We keep our prices low by trying to be efficient, so please help us by checking your furniture while our delivery team is still present. We regret we cannot return in person to verify any damage or faults discovered later, so would need photographs by email to assist with any such queries.
There will sometimes be delays and there will be instances where the delivery is not convenient for you, and will have to be re arranged, we do not hide this or make any excuses for it, we would rather be honest with you about all aspects of the purchasing process .We will always try to help where you have special requirements for furniture to be delivered quickly, if it is in stock.
Delivery
We now deliver our Oak, Ash and Pine Furniture throughout the South East Of England including Kent, Sussex, Surrey, London, Hampshire, Cambridgeshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex, Middlesex and Berkshire. Delivery Is with our own transport which virtually eliminates transit damage.

With the Internet it is now incredibly easy to compare prices. In the unlikely event we are not the cheapest We will pricematch other websites but please remember to include delivery charges and also service. We only deliver to the South East of England because if in the unlikely event you have a problem with your furniture we want to be able to sort it out quickly and in house.No premium phone numbers or empty promises to get back to you just a promise to sort problems out personally and quickly.
